The face of retail has changed drastically over the last few years.  The pandemic accelerated a large scale move to internet shopping and client behaviour has been permanently shifted.  But there are elements of the shopping experience that cannot be reproduced virtually.  Tea companies have an opportunity to take advantage of a general need for human contact, visceral connection to the product and information exchange.  A carefully hosted shop visit can become an event in itself and may be the distinction that will keep the tradition of visiting the local tea shop alive.
