Cass Ruhlman did not grow up around tea, but she did grow up around gardens while living in Florida and North Carolina. She also grew up with the entrepreneurial spirit evident from her family's small hotel business. 

The love and appreciation for tea came during college while she studied abroad in Europe, immersing herself in tea parlors from countryside cozy to grand establishments. Upon returning home, Cass began growing simple herbal blends for family & friends, with an emphasis on native plants. From her farm to your teacup. 

For the past decade Cass converted her tea gardening hobby into two businesses; Antiquity Teahouse & Kinship: Vintage-Tea-Venue. Farm to Teacup is not just a slogan, but a point of pride, with 50-80% of each blend grown in her local community, by farmers she knows by name.
