Jan-Berend Holzapfel is the General Manager and owner of the J. T. Ronnefeldt KG. In this function, he concentrates on both the company’s overall direction and the development of its international business. He oversees the strategic development of new products and service concepts for international hotel clients in over 70 markets. As one of the most esteemed experts in the international tea business, he also conducts the Ronnefeldt international training programs of the TeaMaster® Gold and Silver and regularly travels to the tea gardens.

A graduate of the Vienna University MBA Program, he entered his father’s business summer of 2002 and became the Sales Manager for the Middle East and Asia in 2004. Prior to this, he had developed the market for Ronnefeldt tea in the position of Sales Manager the Middle East. During this time, Mr. Holzapfel established the brand in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. While studying at the University of Vienna and the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL, USA, he specialized in the study of small and medium-sized companies and business ethics.

Jan-Berend is married and has 3 children aged 19, 15, and 11.
